Not every donated item makes it to our showroom floor.

Before furniture is accepted, it goes through a screening process that includes:

✅ Questions about smoking, pets, and overall condition

✅ Photo reviews to assess quality and appearance

✅ Inspections for damage, missing parts, stains, cracks, or safety concerns

✅ Testing of electronics and electrical items when appropriate

We especially value solid wood furniture because it lasts longer and can often be restored and refinished. While we do accept some particle board furniture, it must be in like-new condition.

If an item doesn't meet our standards, we don't sell it—we recycle or dispose of it responsibly.

2. We Make Furniture Shopping Easy

From the moment you walk through our doors, you'll be greeted by friendly volunteers and team members from our local community and Outreach partner churches.

When you find something you love:

1. Let a sales associate know.

2. We'll place a SOLD tag on the item.

3. We'll discuss pickup or delivery options.

4. We'll store your purchase for up to 4 days at no extra charge.

Need help loading? Our warehouse team will assist and provide protective materials like cardboard and plastic wrap to help keep your purchase safe during transport.

3. We Keep Our Store Clean, Organized, and Fresh

We work hard to create an enjoyable shopping experience.

That means:

  • Clean and sanitized restrooms

  • Well-maintained parking lot and exterior spaces

  • Clear pathways throughout the showroom

  • Fresh-smelling inventory

  • Thorough cleaning and inspection of donated items

In fact, before any dresser, desk, or nightstand reaches the sales floor, we inspect every single drawer to make sure there are no personal belongings left behind.
